Hi to All,
this strange thing happens to me.
I have 3 sdi-12 probes connected to the same U9 port of a CR6:
- n 01 Hygrovue10 thermo-hygrometer id 1#
- n 01 WTX531 wind and rain id #3
and n 01 Sentek Drill&Drop 12 levels id #0
To save energy I connected the Sentek to the sw12_2 since, with other slow probes, it must be read every hour, while every minute I read the thermo-hygrometer and the WTX 531 anemometer and rain gauge connected to a constant 12V power supply.
In practice when I turn off the sw12_2 the thermo-hygrometer does not work, it returns NAN. If I leave the SW12_2 always on it works, it also works when at startup I turn on the sw12_2 until the hourly scan arrives, I read the sentek and turn off the sw12_2 waiting for the next hour, at this point the thermo-hygrometer stops working.
Now I am forced to keep the sentek always on and protect the power wire with a fuse (I always do this with the probe cables that go into the ground, while the SW12_2 is already limited and protected)
Even stranger is that the WTX531 is not affected by the problem, it always works with or without SW12_2 turned on.
I also did some tests by moving the program lines, but the thermo-hygrometer always stops working if the sw12_2 is turned off.
is there some rule i dont know?
many thanks
Regards
Smile
